WWE Name Updates Fans Following ‘Candy Stash’ Incident On NXT WWE

A WWE commentator has updated fans following an incident on last week’s NXT (June 20) that revealed a large ‘candy stash’ at the announce booth.

During the June 20 NXT World Heavyweight Championship main event between Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Bron Breakker, Rollins cleared the announce table in order to place Breakker on top of it.

However, when doing so, among the debris from the table was Vic Joseph’s sizeable stash of candy, which he has on hand for every show.

Joseph did later address the very legitimate reason for the large selection of sweets for those who didn’t know the story, revealing that he once nearly passed out while commentating alongside Corey Graves, therefore the sugary goods were a necessity to avoid a repeat incident.

And now, despite the entire stash being cleared out last week, Joseph has provided fans a very important update, revealing that the candy supply was restocked for last night’s June 27 episode of NXT.

Joseph posted a picture of a collection of sweets on Twitter (which you an see below), including Sour Patch Kids, Skittles and Tootsie Rolls alongside the caption:

RELOADED #WWENXT

NXT last night saw the second week of its special ‘Gold Rush’ episodes, with four different title matches taking place.

There were no title changes, but Baron Corbin did bring back a gimmick from his past for his NXT Championship match against Carmelo Hayes, which you can read about at this link.

Also on the show, the next NXT vs main roster feud may have been revealed, click here to find out more.
