Cody Rhodes took to Twitter yesterday (May 24) to comment on the reports that he wouldn’t be added to WWE 2k22 due to there being ‘not enough time’ to make his character.
Cody responded to the reaction, teasing that the folks at WWE games are working on ‘something pretty special’, which many have taken to mean that Cody could be on the cover of the next installment.
However, Cody isn’t the only current WWE roster member not in WWE 2k22, and he’s not the only one angling for a spot on the roster, as former Women’s Tag Team Champion Queen Zelina also teased being added to the game, simply tweeting:
Hey @WWEgames …sup?
This comes after several models exclusive to the game’s MyRise mode were added to the roster in a recent update following much fan demand, including that of Raw star T-Bar, whose ‘Dominik Dijakovic’ model was one of the few locked behind the mode.
Fans have been requesting an additional DLC character following the removal of Nash Carter, who was planned for the upcoming ‘Stand Back Pack’.
