WWE Announcing Women’s Division?
Speaking of a self aggrandising, WWE has announced that Stephanie McMahon, architect of the entire women’s evolution, original and best draft of the Venus De Milo and direct descendent of Eve, will be appearing on Raw tonight.
WWE tweeted: BREAKING: Commissioner @StephMcMahon will appear LIVE this Monday on #RAW to deliver a historic announcement!
Steph is going to reveal that she is in fact a saint. God called up and said so.
Joking aside it’s more than likely that this has something to do with the women’s division and all of that backstage talk of a women only pay per view or a tag division.
According to Wrestling Standard that’s about right, they say that they’ve learned Stephanie definitely will be announcing the all women PPV, which will be named whatever the opposite of Great Balls of Fire is.
And potentially a tag division, complete with tournament for the titles too.
Which’ll be nice for the Iiconics, the worst bits of Absolution, MLorgan, and Sasha and Bayley if they ever manage to claw back any credibility after this godawful therapy angle.
And yeah, even though this announcement is reportedly happening on Raw, the Smackdown women get to be in on the action too
Wrestling Standard’s sources have also confirmed an earlier WrestleVotes rumour that the pay per view will take place in September in Long Island, New York. But WrestleVotes themselves have another trusted source who says October.
WrestleVotes have also said that the PPV will feature the finals of the Mae Young Classic II.
And another rumour floating around is that the women’s tag tournament will take place at the event. Which Stephanie alone will no doubt win.
