We will find out over the coming weeks because both will have to face The Empress of Tomorrow one on one!
SmackDown Live General Manager Paige Here made the announcement on last night’s show…that Carmella will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Asuka at Extreme Rules.

Ellsworth made his return to WWE at Money in the Bank to cost Asuka her title match with The Princess of Staten Island.
This will be The Big Hog’s first WWE match since November 2017, after which he left the company before being brought back for the Carmella-Asuka storyline.
Carmella was not on SmackDown this week as she and AJ Styles had travelled to Australia to promote WWE’s Super Show-Down pay-per-view taking place there in October.
