ROH‘s appropriately named Final Battle takes place tonight, and it’s appropriately named for a lot of reasons. Obviously, this is the last pay-per-view of the year, and quite possibly, it could also be the final pay-per-view appearance for many of its stars.
With rumours swirling about what the cast of Being the Elite will do come January, this could be a huge turning point for Ring of Honor.
This event will be broadcast on regular pay-per-view, the Fite Network, and on Honor Club. I’m expecting ROH to try to establish the talent that plans to stick around in 2018. With that said, let’s take a look at the line up and make some predictions.
Eli Isom vs. Kenny King
This match was the last to be announced. Eli Isom is a young up and comer in Ring of Honor and he needs a good showing in this match to put him on the map. Consequently, Isom needs to prove he has what it takes to be a major player in 2019. Kenny King has recently been showing a more vicious and heel persona. I would expect a hot start to the show with this match. However, look for the heel tactics of King to be too much to overcome.
Prediction: Kenny King
