Britt Baker has signed with All Elite Wrestling as confirmed by Dave Meltzer. Baker is among the first people to officially sign with AEW following the promotion’s announcement on New Years Day.
Baker competed at ALL IN where she lost a four-way match to Tessa Blanchard. The match also included Chelsea Green and Madison Rayne. Baker has also competed for Ring of Honor, SHIMMER, and Stardom as well as appearing at an NXT taping. This signing is yet another step for AEW as they continue to sign talent and prepare for their ambitious 2019.
More details continue to emerge regarding All Elite Wrestling. Cody and The Young Bucks’ roles have been revealed as they will all take on executive roles within the company as well as wrestling. Brandi Rhodes is expected to assume a key role involving the women of the company and Dana Massie (AKA Mrs. Matt) will have a key role in merchandising.
AEW will have a rally in Jacksonville, Florida next Tuesday where they will reveal more details about Double Or Nothing. Double Or Nothing is expected to be the name of the sequel to the group’s extremely successful pay per view ALL IN.
More details about Baker’s signing may be revealed at the event as well.
