Bruce Prichard is the current Executive Director of WWE and thus his opinion matter more than most when it comes to WWE. One thing people always like to debate is the designs of championship belts. Even us at WrestleTalk have discussed belt designs from time to time.
On his podcast Something to Wrestle, Prichard revealed that he hates the design of the tag team titles. Here is the quote
“I’d probably have to say the tag team championship belts that are now in the WWE. Hate the design. Really hated the copper/penny look.”
Prichard is not the only one who has this opinion. The tag team title designs have not been popular since they were introduced in 2010. While they have been updated from a black and copper design to silver and red/blue, the actual design of the belts has remained the same.
On the other hand, Prichard said he loves the design of the 24/7 Championship. Now that is a controversial opinion. The 24/7 Championship design has received a ton of hate since being introduced last year.
Make sure you check out Adam Blampied’s video detailing the eleven worst championship belts ever. It goes without saying Adam and Bruce would disagree on number one.
