Last night the Warrior Wrestling event, former AEW star Kylie Rae defeated former Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard to capture the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship.
This is Tessa Blanchard’s first match since the Impact Wrestling taping that took place back in March. She then, she has been fired by Impact for reportedly refusing to drop the Impact World title at Slammiversary.
The reason that Tessa dropping the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship is interesting is because it may indicate that she is preparing to exclusively signed with a new promotion in the coming weeks/months.
Pretty much immediately after her release from Impact Wrestling, it was reported that WWE higher-ups were interested in bringing the second-generation wrestler into the company. There is no word of if there is still interest from either party.
