We have started to see stars return after being away from WWE for months. The pandemic caused people like Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn to miss significant time but they have both returned. Now, Robert Roode is expected to join them.
The highly reputable WrestleVotes Twitter account is currently reporting that Roode is expected to return in the next week or two. They added that the return could even possibly happen tonight on Raw. Here is the tweet:
Robert Roode, who’s been away for months, is expected to return to RAW within the next week or two, possibly even tonight.

“Robert Roode, who’s been away for months, is expected to return to RAW within the next week or two, possibly even tonight.”
Roode has not wrestled for WWE since the Elimination Chamber pay per view in March. At the show, he and Dolph Ziggler unsuccessfully challenged for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Since then, the pandemic has kept Roode in Canada, unable to make it to the WWE Performance Center.
It remains to be seen what Roode’s role will be upon his return. It appears he will no longer be on SmackDown as he was when the pandemic began. This could mean he will reunite with Ziggler, although Ziggler hasn’t done much since ending his feud with Drew McIntyre.
