Pete Dunne was the special guest referee for the match. After the match, WALTER and Wolfe beat down Dunne until Ilja Dragunov made the save.
So, who will Dar be facing in the second round? He’ll be facing the winner of Flash Morgan Webster and A-Kid. Webster and A-Kid will be battling next Thursday on NXT UK.

The other two first-round matches will be Dave Mastiff vs. Joseph Conners and Trent Seven vs. Kenny Williams. Williams earned the final spot for the tournament by defeating Ashton Smith and Amir Jordan in a triple threat match on NXT UK this week.

And we all know if there’s one thing WWE is good at it’s consistently following its own rules.
