A former WWE writer has been in talks and had an interview with IMPACT Wrestling about joining the promotion.
Chris DeJoseph, also known as Big Dick Johnson, was a writer for WWE from December 2019 to May 2020.
He was fired in May after Vince McMahon had reportedly found out about comments DeJoseph had made on a conference call.
DeJoseph had previously been very criticial of AEW, seemingly in an attempt to score a job with WWE. Evidently, it didn’t last very long.
Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that DeJoseph had an interview with IMPACT about being brought in as a writer there instead.
This comes after he’d been in talks with MLW but the promotion turned him down.
