Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics has compiled a full breakdown of the 30-minute head-to-head between AEW Rampage and WWE SmackDown.
Keep in mind this is just for 30 minutes that the two shows went head-to-head. During that time, SmackDown had Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks followed by the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar contract signing, while Rampage had CM Punk vs Matt Sydal followed by Ruby Soho vs The Bunny.
In total viewers, SmackDown drew 878,000, while Rampage drew 602,000.
However, in people aged 18-49, which is the most important number in the world of TV and advertising, Rampage drew 328,000 to SmackDown’s 285,000, which is why Rampage came out the winner in reality.
AEW Rampage beat SmackDown in people aged 18-34, people aged 35-49, males aged 18-49, females aged 18-49, males aged 18-34, females aged 18-34, and males aged 35-49.
SmackDown won in females aged 35-49, and won by a big margin in people outside of 18-49 (mainly 50+).
