More evidence has emerged on reports that WWE is planning to announce more releases in the near-future.
Earlier today, PWInsider indicated that more performers and employees could be let go by the company as early as today. WrestleVotes has now confirmed that there has been talk of WWE potentially releasing a ‘small number of talent’, tweeting:
“I have unconfirmed names, but hearing WWE may be releasing a small number of talent today. Another uneasy day in Stamford….”
Senior Vice President of Creative Services Stan Stanski’s recent WWE departure reportedly shocked many in the company, with an individual within WWE noting that Stanski’s exit is “ultimate proof no-one is safe”.
It’s also worth noting that tonight is when WWE will report its 2021 Q3 financials.
