Brian Kendrick has taken to Twitter to make a statement in light of today’s controversy.
After being removed from his announced match against Jon Moxley on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite late in the afternoon, being replaced by Wheeler Yuta, Kendrick has taken to his Twitter to apologize and distance himself from his past comments, writing:
“I apologize for all the hurt and embarassment I have caused with my words. These are not my beliefs and never were beliefs of mine, and I crossed the line.
“I spread the most vile comments without thinking of the damage it would cause. I will live with this regret for the rest of my life. I am truly sorry for the pain I have caused.”
Brian Kendrick had previously requested his release from WWE which was reported yesterday (February 1) as having been granted and shortly thereafter Kendrick was announced for an appearance on tonight’s AEW Dynamite being announced for a match against Jon Moxley.
I apologize for all the hurt and embarassment I have caused with my words. These are not my beliefs and never were beliefs of mine, and I crossed the line.
