Vickie Guerrero has commented on her current role in AEW, admitting that she’s a little sad she’s not an onscreen General Manager.
Guerrero established herself as one of the most memorable wrestling authority figures during her multiple GM runs in WWE.
The veteran name currently manages Nyla Rose on AEW TV, but doesn’t have much power onscreen.
Speaking with WhatCulture, Guerrero noted that she misses being a GM, noting that it’s a ‘different situation’ with AEW.
Hopeful that she will manage more AEW names in the future, Guerrero said:
“I’m a little sad that I don’t play the General Manager. I do miss those times a lot because it was so much fun to make out with guys, hire and fire people, and slap women and get away with it. Those were really fun times. It’s a different situation with AEW and I wish I could do that, but hopefully, I can manage more people.”
Nyla Rose recently praised Guerrero for being a huge asset to the AEW women’s division behind the scenes.
“There’s been a lot of growth in that division and with us hiring more women around the world like Toni Storm, it’s really exciting that we’re getting so much diversity and have them be a part of the locker room. It’s just going to get better.”
Nyla Rose unsuccessfully challenged for Thunder Rosa’s AEW Women’s Championship at Battle of the Belts II last weekend.
