Stephanie McMahon shocked the wresting world earlier in the week, when she announced on Twitter that she would be taking a ‘leave of absence’ from her duties in WWE.
The announcement has left a lot of confusion internally, with WWE stating that she is taking her extended leave due to the last year being very rough on her family, for all the obvious reasons, and that she’s taking time to focus on her family.
PWInsider is reporting that, while WWE President Nick Khan is working with several of WWE’s partners in McMahon’s absence, the belief is that eventually, the company will bring someone in to handle Brand Management on an Executive level full-time.
While Stephanie takes time off to be with her family, Triple H is reportedly back at work following his cardiac event last year, with his duties now being ‘categorically different’.
