A new report has indicated that WWE is not happy with the planned lineup for SummerSlam.
We’re less than two weeks away from the Biggest Party of the Summer, which is set to take place on July 30 at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
As of writing, eight matches have been announced for the premium live event.
WrestleVotes has now revealed that a source told them that WWE isn’t keen on the current card, tweeting:
“In the most WWE of ways, I had a source tell me this morning ‘they really don’t like the SummerSlam card’
“‘They’ being the people who put it together. Um, what?!”
In the main event of the show, Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match. Mr Money in the Bank Theory, who is slated to challenge for Bobby Lashley’s US Championship at the event, has recently been teasing that he’ll cash-in at SummerSlam.
It has also been confirmed that Bianca Belair will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch in a WrestleMania 38 rematch.
