WWE has announced that ‘Big Body Javy‘ will make his NXT 2.0 debut on the August 23 episode.
Javier Bernal has been wrestling on NXT Level Up (and 205 Live) since January.
In a WWE digital exclusive, the star noted that he can’t think of a better way to make an impact than to defeat Cameron Grimes on next week’s show.
Also during the NXT Heatwave special, it was announced that the Super Diva, Quincy Elliott will soon join NXT 2.0, following recent appearances on Level Up.
NXT Heatwave was notably invaded by NXT UK, with the Gallus faction attacking Diamond Mine, Blair Davenport making an appearance, and NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate confronting NXT Champion Bron Breakker later in the show.
Tyler Bate’s appearance actually spoiled an upcoming championship match, with a tournament for the vacant NXT UK Title currently airing on the pre-taped show.
