AEW World Champion CM Punk has explained how he approaches wrestling now.
On the August 24 edition of Dynamite, CM Punk will go one-on-one with Jon Moxley to determine the AEW Undisputed World Champion.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, the AEW star discussed several topics, including how he approached professional wrestling now.
He said:
“I still feel it, just in a new way. I’m much more driven by business metrics, whereas I think some people are driven by match quality and star ratings. I think a good match is one that sells tickets.”
As previously mentioned, Punk discussed his promo on Hangman Page and Jon Moxley from the August 17 edition of AEW Dynamite in the same interview.
The AEW World Champion also addressed the rumors about his unhappiness with All Elite Wrestling.
