An update has emerged on Kevin Dunn’s status with WWE following rumors that he had finished up with the company.
Since Vince McMahon’s departure in July, it has been speculated that the WWE Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution will leave the company.
Following claims that Dunn has been released by the company, PWInsider reports that Dunn’s status is 100% unchanged.
Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon and President Nick Khan also act as co-CEOs for WWE. Triple H runs everything related to creative in his role as the Chief Content Officer.
Following a report that Dunn and Stephanie McMahon don’t get along, some thought Dunn’s days with WWE would be numbered, however Triple H indicated that Dunn would be sticking around when speaking with ESPN during SummerSlam week, noting:
“The intent is to continue the legacy of what has been going on, what made me fall in love with this business that he created, and to take it to new levels. To take it beyond where it is now. The only way we’re going to do that is with a team.
“That’s with Steph, that’s with Nick Khan, that’s with myself, that’s with Kevin Dunn, that’s with everybody that is here, that is with all this talent. We have the greatest, hardest-working talent in the world. I have no doubt in mind, with this team, we can do it.”
