A new update has emerged on the WWE status of Charlotte Flair, amid her wrestling hiatus.
Flair hasn’t wrestled since losing the SmackDown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash in May.
Flair recently teased her return, hinting that she has her eyes on the Raw Women’s Championship scene.
Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Flair is scheduled to return ‘soon’.
Flair’s husband Andrade El Idolo recently revealed that Flair has been out of action for ‘personal reasons‘ that she’ll eventually explain.
During her absence, Flair has launched her jewelry collaboration with the Rockford Collection, with rings on sale now.
After defeating Flair at WrestleMania Backlash, Rousey dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title at Money in the Bank in July, after Morgan cashed in her Money in the Bank contract.
Rousey won the gold back from Liv Morgan at the October 8 Extreme Rules premium live event. Rousey has revealed that her pitch for the Extreme Rules match finish was rejected because it involved a weapon that WWE has now banned.
