Brandi Rhodes has commented on the possibility of a WWE onscreen reunion with Cody Rhodes.
While Brandi and Cody Rhodes first met while with WWE, the duo established themselves as a double-act following their WWE departures in 2016.
During Cody’s stints with ROH, NJPW and on the independent scene, Brandi would accompany him to the ring for big matches, and cause havoc at ringside during Cody’s heel days.
The duo occasionally interacted on AEW TV, but Brandi hasn’t been involved with Cody Rhodes’ WWE storylines since his return to the company in April.
Speaking on the Ten Count podcast, Brandi noted that she’d only consider another onscreen partnership with Cody if it would make sense.
Believing that she’s more valuable to Cody behind the scenes, Brandi said:
“I love my husband and I’m always there for him. However, if it doesn’t make sense, I’m not in. This is his journey right now and you don’t get a lot of shots at these things.
“I am better at telling him what he does need in the mix.
“I’m very honest with him when I think that I’m not going to add anything to it.”
Brandi recently gave an update on her wrestling future, noting that an in-ring return isn’t a top priority for her right now.
