On tonight’s AEW Rampage, more matches for Ring of Honor’s upcoming pay-per-view, Final Battle were announced.
A former Ring of Honor World Television Champion made their debut appearance on AEW Rampage to challenge Keith Lee during a backstage interview segment.
While Keith Lee was talking to Renee Paquette backstage, he was approached by Shane Taylor who referened his history with Keith Lee.
Taylor challenged Lee to a tag team match at Ring or Honor Final Battle where he said he would be bringing tag partner, JD Griffey.
Shane wondered however, who Keith Lee would be able to find to be his partner?
It was at this point that Swerve Strickland appeared in the camera’s frame as though he had just joined the conversation, with Lee mildly exasperated.
“Can I even count on you dude?” he asked, to which Swerve did not reply, rather just removed his glasses.
Later on in the show, Juice Robinson appeared and challenged Samoa Joe for his ROH Television Championship.
Later commentary officially confirmed that Juice Robinson had been signed by AEW.
