Former AEW TNT Champion Miro has commented on his TV absence, addressing a potential return to the ring.
The popular star hasn’t wrestled for AEW since competing in an eight-man tag bout at the September 4 All Out pay-per-view.
While speaking with MUSE TV, Miro was asked when we can expect him back on AEW TV.
Reacting to the ‘spicy question’, Miro said:
“It’s not up to me. I’m doing everything I can and from then on, I’m just sitting and waiting for the opportunity.”
AEW President Tony Khan addressed Miro’s absence during last month’s AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum.
Khan noted that, along with several other absent stars, he’d love to get Miro back involved with AEW storylines again in the future.
Following reports that Miro hadn’t had any creative plans presented to him, another report stated that Miro rejected a pitch for an AEW return.
Only wrestling four matches in 2022, Miro’s win/loss record for the year sits at 3-1-0.
