WWE Hall of Famer (and six-time world champion) Booker T has cast his eye over the AEW and identified his pick.
Speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker identified Jade Cargill as someone who he thinks would benefit from a WWE run, saying:
“She’s kind of like under the radar, you know what I mean?
“She’s not in the big belt picture.
“She’s like on her own wing . . . It’s not like she’s really in the division.”
He would go on to refer to Cargill as a “specimen” claiming she:
“has WWE written all over her.”
Jade Cargill debuted for AEW in 2021 and has been a dominant force in the company since then.
She had received interest from WWE in the past before choosing to sign with Tony Khan’s company.
She reportedly felt that her interests were best served outside of a ‘cookie-cutter system’ of WWE.
Cargill recently spoke about why, despite holding the TBS Championship for 350 days, she hasn’t challenged for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
The AEW Women’s World Championship is currently held by Jamie Hayter.
Hayter’s recent match against Hikaru Shida was highly praised with sources noting the improvements in the women’s division.
