She’s a seven-time WWE Women’s Champion and was ranked the No. 1 Greatest Women Superstars in 2021, but one WWE Hall of Famer isn’t done yet.
In response to a Tweet about Trish Stratus‘ year, Mariah Queen of the Billboard said:
“I still dream of seeing you in a steel cage match ❤️”
Stratus would respond to this, echoing the sentiment:
“Strangely I still dream of seeing me in a steel cage match …”
Since retiring from WWE in-ring competition in 2006, Stratus has made occasional appearances on WWE programming.
She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 and was inducted by Stephanie McMahon.
She returned to WWE in-ring action teaming with Lita to take on Mickie James & Alicia Fox with Alexa Bliss at WWE Evolution in 2018.
She would also take on Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam in 2019, receiving a standing ovation after her loss to Flair.
Reports have recently emerged that Stratus has been considered for a live audience show over WrestleMania weekend.
The shows would be “similar to the Undertaker’s 1 deadMAN shows, which saw the Undertaker sharing stories from his career and taking questions from an intimate live audience.”
