The Miz has commented on recent changes to the WWE management team, praising former co-CEO Stephanie McMahon following her WWE departure.
Stephanie McMahon publicly announced her resignation on January 10, shortly after her father Vince McMahon re-joined the company’s board of directors.
Nick Khan now serves as WWE’s sole CEO, while Vince McMahon has the title of executive chairman.
Speaking with TMZ, The Miz noted that Stephanie is a really good person, noting:
“For me, she’s always been one of the people you can talk to. She’s done a lot for the company, and she’s a really good person as well.”
Believing that his role as a WWE talent remains the same no matter who is in charge, The Miz said:
“Whoever is at the head at the time, we’re just trying to do our job as WWE Superstars to make people happy and give them something to remember.”
In a recent interview, current WWE CEO Nick Khan noted that he was always working under the belief that Vince would eventually come back.
WWE SmackDown star Karrion Kross recently addressed Vince’s return, noting that nobody who he has talked with is concerned for their job, despite some office departures.
