It was reported earlier today by PWInsider that WWE did not have Bray Wyatt listed on the internal roster in any fashion.
This had led to speculation about his status within the company, but it seems as though there has really been no update either way in that regard.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), numerous WWE sources have confirmed that both Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, who portrays Uncle Howdy, are still with the company.
In regards to the roster being referenced, Fightful notes that Wyatt was omitted due to injury, specifically the illness he has been dealing with for the past few months.
The creative for Uncle Howdy has been on hold due to Wyatt’s absence, but both men are still in the company.
Fightful was also told that Wyatt has been hopeful and wanting a return, but there has been no update on his health or status.
Road Dogg recently stated on his podcast that the company had hired a new writer for Wyatt, which led to more speculation from fans online.
Fightful notes that Road Dogg’s comments caused ‘confusion’ in the company.
