Mercedes Mone’s contribution to Trinity’s (formerly WWE’s Naomi) IMPACT Wrestling debut has been revealed.
Trinity’s in-ring debut was aired on May 18 2023 having been recorded in April of this year and saw her facing KiLynn King.
Footage of the match can be seen below this news story and shows something that many Naomi fans will find familiar.
It turns out that the glow sticks that were seen during Trinity’s entrance were a gift from Mercedes Mone, currently of NJPW and formerly WWE’s Sasha Banks.
This was confirmed by both Trinity and the IMPACT Wrestling Floor Manager on Twitter.
Trinity thanked Mone for her gift, with Ingrid Isley later confirming that they were bought by the New Japan Pro-Wrestling star for the fans.
Trinity will now go on to face Gisele Shaw at IMPACT Wrestling Under Siege on May 26.
