The Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships have been the topic of a lot of confusion by WWE fans since the 2023 WWE Draft.
In the Draft, SmackDown’s Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was drafted to Raw, while Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was drafted to SmackDown.
Bianca has since lost the championship to Asuka, though the title is still featured on SmackDown.
Now, WWE has announced a ‘WWE Women’s Championship Presentation’ for tonight’s (June 9) episode of SmackDown.
WWE has previewed the segment on their website, noting that the Empress of Tomorrow will receive a new championship during the segment.
The show will feature two women’s Money In The Bank qualifying matches, with IYO SKY facing Shotzi and Bayley facing ‘Michin’ Mia Yim.
The men’s Money In The Bank Ladder match will also see two qualifiers tonight, with Baron Corbin taking on Butch and Santos Escobar taking on Mustafa Ali.
