A former champion is set to return on this Wednesday’s June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite.
At AEW Double Or Nothing, MJF defeated Darby Allin, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and Sammy Guevara to retain the AEW World Title.
Following this loss, every member of the “Four Pillars” has been seen on AEW programming except for Guevara. However, this is about to change this week.
On June 13, the former three-time TNT Champion took to Twitter to announce that he will be back on this week’s AEW Dynamite from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Prior to his Double Or Nothing title match, Sammy Guevara had been going through a babyface turn. During his entrance at the event, he and his wife Tay Melo announced that they are expecting their first child.
As previously reported, Melo and Guevara revealed the name and sex of their child.
Already announced for this Wednesday’s episode, MJF will face Adam Cole in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match and Hangman Adam Page and The Young Bucks will face Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
