Making a return appearance on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Ric Flair added an intriguing new layer to the upcoming final match of Sting.
With Sting set for his last match at the upcoming pay-per-view AEW Revolution, previously Ric Flair had appeared in segments leading up to the big night.
However, being shown arriving backstage at AEW Dynamite tonight, Ric Flair was in no jovial mood.
Ric Flair was shown arriving to the arena and then stopping to chat with Renee Paquette.
Flair revealed that he was displeased with the way he had been utilized in AEW, having not appeared for the last several weeks.
Noting that he may need to explore some other options, he was then shown knocking on the door of a green room that was answered by Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, the Young Bucks.
While the Bucks were shown granting Flair entry to their private locker room, there has not been any revelation regarding what went on.
Elsewhere in the show, there was a vignette featuring Darby Allin and Sting as they highlighted how intensely personal the rivalry with the Young Bucks became after they assaulted his sons.
Revealing that his own father had just passed away, Sting has been contemplating the themes of mortality more than ever.
