And if once wasn’t enough, CM Punk is the only person to ever have won the briefcase twice, doing it at consecutive WrestleMania’s (24 & 25).
Once again, he used the briefcase to capitalise on a wounded opponent, in this case, Jeff Hardy.
Hardy had just beaten Edge at Extreme Rules when Punk’s music hit. A kick and a GTS later, and Punk was once again the World Heavyweight Champion.
Given that this record is the one thing WWE hasn’t tried to take away from Punk makes it even more special. Oh well, Randy or someone will win it next year.
