6. Robert Roode
Since undergoing a very minor transformation from Bobby to Robert Roode, and shaving his goatee, the veteran is looking to reinvent himself. After Roode came up to the main roster, he was never given a feud or match that allowed him to connect with the crowd.
Immediately hindering him from the start was the fact that management made him a babyface for no reason. The best fit for Roode is to be an overly proud, big-headed heel. The same type of heel who demands an elaborate entrance that he has. The same type of heel that he was before he departed NXT.
Bringing Roode back to NXT can give him another chance to recalibrate. A place that he can showcase his promo abilities and actually be a main feature on the show.
A truly aggravating thought is that before he left NXT in 2017, he was in the main title picture. That clearly shows he can be in the top echelon of superstars, he just needs to get back to the Roode roots. Besides, that moustache needs a place to shine and NXT may be its home.
