4. Fix A Quiet 2022
It’s a credit to McIntyre that he’s managed to stay over and relevant on SmackDown given the less than ideal hand he has been dealt since the calendars were changed.
McIntyre took on Happy Corbin in a singles match as the second match on this year’s WrestleMania Saturday. To put that into perspective, his other WrestleMania matches since his main roster return in 2018 have been a singles match with a returning Roman Reigns, a WWE Championship main event against Brock Lesnar and the first match in front of a live crowd in over a year for the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley.
Drew has proven that he’ll do what is asked and make the best out of it this year, with two premium live event matches against Madcap Moss and a very short feud with Sami Zayn based on countouts keeping him busy.
No-one would begrudge him a Money in the Bank win just so there is SOMETHING of note in his 2022.
