On the June 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Mone made her return to the company as the Wild Card entrant in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.

This led to Mone picking up a win over Alex Windsor to advance to the semi-finals where she will face the winner of Persephone vs Hazuki.

Following her return, fans could see ‘The CEO’ assemble a stable of talent around her to help reach the mountaintop in All Elite Wrestling once more.

Here are seven AEW stars to potentially join a new Mercedes Mone faction after her return.

7. Athena

Back in the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, Mercedes Mone defeated Athena in the semi-finals.

After their encounter, Mone aligned herself with Athena with the two ladies competing in the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament together.

While they came up short, ‘The CEO’ and ‘The Fallen Goddess’ stayed as an alliance and even challenged the first ever champions the Babes of Wrath at AEW Worlds End 2025.

Following several months on the sidelines, Mone could come back and decide to bring Athena into a potential faction with her, knowing the success she has had as ROH Women’s World Champion over the past three-plus years.

6. Kamille

When Kamille arrived in All Elite Wrestling, she quickly aligned herself with Mercedes Mone.

Over the next few months, Kamille worked as Mone’s bodyguard and muscle, helping her in TBS Championship matches, but the two women soon split up after Mercedes fired the former NWA World Women’s Champion.

Back at AEW Dynasty 2026, Kamille made her return to the company and immediately attacked Willow Nightingale. However, Nightingale went on to defeat Kamille to retain the TBS Title on the April 25 Spring BreakThru special of AEW Dynamite.

After not being seen on AEW TV since this loss, Kamille might need to reunite with Mercedes Mone in what would be a potential faction around her.

5. Nyla Rose

Nyla Rose was the second AEW Women’s World Champion

Another AEW star who might fill the void next to Mercedes Mone as muscle is Nyla Rose.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion has not appeared on the company’s television in well over a year.

Rose was recently announced to return to in-ring action in Japan for the Marigold promotion.

This might open the door for Rose to return to AEW TV where an alliance with Mone would give her a prominent role in the company once again.

4. Harley Cameron

At the start of 2025, Mercedes Mone and Harley Cameron found themselves on the same team in the ring.

This led to Cameron trying to convince Mone to give her a shot at the TBS Title and even created a puppet version of ‘The CEO.’

Cameron came into 2026 as one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions with Willow Nightingale in the Babes of Wrath, but after the duo lost the gold, Harley found herself on her own and all alone.

Despite recently reuniting with Kris Statlander, Cameron could decide to align herself with Mercedes once again where she might learn a lot from her being in the same faction together.

3. Red Velvet

At the tail end of 2025, Mercedes Mone did battle with Red Velvet on two occasions over the Ring of Honor Women’s World Television Championship.

Despite picking up a win in their first meeting, Mone then suffered a heartbreaking loss to Velvet to lose the title at ROH Final Battle 2025.

Since then, Velvet has reigned as the ROH Women’s World TV Champion and even had a strong showing against Willow Nightingale over the TBS Title.

After being in the match where Nightingale suffered her shoulder injury, this should lead to Mone growing a fondness for Velvet that might see them come together in a potential faction as a unit.

2. Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross)

In the absence of Mercedes Mone from AEW TV, Divine Dominion have become the most dominant force in the women’s division.

At AEW Revolution 2026, Divine Dominion defeated The Babes of Wrath to win the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship.

Since then, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross have been unstoppable with no other team being able to beat them inside the squared circle.

Wanting to surround herself with champions, Mone would be hard-pressed to find better individuals to have around her than Divine Dominion right now.

1. The Beast Mortos

The Beast Mortos currently reigns as a ROH Tag Team Champion alongside Sammy Guevara

Outside of the ring, Mercedes Mone has found love in her life in the form of The Beast Mortos.

The two AEW stars have showcased their love across their social media with the couple being seen in various places together.

In the company, The Beast Mortos has been mostly featured in Ring of Honor where he is one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions with Sammy Guevara as part of LFI.

However, The Beast Mortos would make for an intimidating monster to have as the muscle for a potential group led by Mone in AEW moving forward.
