AEW All In London 2026 Matches Canceled

AEW All In London 2026 takes place today but the card is noticeably different compared to what fans were expecting in the months leading up to it.

Here are five match that were planned for AEW All In London but ended up not taking place.

Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Willow Nightingale – AEW Women’s World Championship

Let’s start with a match that actually is happening… but backwards.

The original lineup for the 2026 women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament featured Willow Nightingale and not Mercedes Mone, but due to an injury to Nightingale who was TBS Champion at the time, Mone came in as her replacement.

Mone went on to win the tournament that she wasn’t even originally supposed to be in, which pretty much tells you that Nightingale was going to be the original winner before her withdrawal.

Thus, it looks like this match was supposed to be Nightingale challenging Mone for the AEW World Title, not the other way around – possible even in a title for title match if Nightingale kept hold of the TBS Championship she had to vacate because of the injury.

Thekla vs. Toni Storm

Speaking of the AEW Women’s World Championship, one notable omission from the All In card as it stands is former champion Thekla, who had a standout reign before dropping the title to Nightingale.

Also absent is Toni Storm, who has been out of action since March when she defeated Marina Shafir at Revolution and played a part in Ronda Rousey’s AEW debut appearance.

It was reported a few months ago that Thekla vs Storm was planned for All In, but Storm’s absent put paid to that.

Adam Copeland & Christian Cage vs. Young Bucks vs. FTR

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks at All In, but it long seemed there was going to be a third team involved.

Cope and Cage have a long history with FTR, and it seemed like All In would host a TLC throwback match between the three teams in a mirror image of Cope and Cage’s legendary TLC matches with the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz.

However, FTR have been away from AEW since May for somewhat mysterious reasons.

They were in action at RevPro in London on the eve of All In, so there’s a possibility of them returning as a late addition, but as things stand, they aren’t on the card for All In.

MJF (c) vs. Will Ospreay – AEW World Championship

AEW CEO Tony Khan had a big decision to make for AEW All In London 2026 – MJF vs Will Ospreay, or Kenny Omega vs Will Ospreay.

MJF vs Ospreay would have seen the top babyface in the promotion and the hometown hero at Wembley Stadium looking to dethrone the top heel in the company and a proven money draw, and it also would have been a rematch from the last time AEW was at Wembley in 2024.

Omega vs Ospreay, on the other hand, is pretty much the ultimate non-WWE fan’s dream match, and with Omega’s career winding down, this is probably the last shot at it taking place on a stage as big as Wembley.

Evidently, Khan chose the latter.

Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay vs. MJF

As noted, Tony Khan went with Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay, but there was one other option.

AEW could have gone into All In with a three-way title match, with all three of Omega, Ospreay and MJF involved, rather than taking the World Title off MJF just a few weeks ago and placing him in the Casino Gauntlet instead.

The only issue with that would have been muddying the story a little – a one-on-one main event is almost always a better sell than a multi-man simply because fans can get more invested in one-on-one conflict and stories.

All in all, going with either of the singles matches would probably have worked out better than the three-way, but it was there as a possibility.
