Every Shane McMahon WrestleMania Match Ranked From Worst To Best

7. Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker (WrestleMania 32)

Thirty minutes. This match went thirty minutes. That’s half an hour.

This match featured one of the more iconic moments in recent WrestleMania history, when Shane dived off the top of the Hell In A Cell and crashed through the announce table. That is a really cool, memorable spot, and I am taking nothing away from it. It deserves to be replayed.

But there was 25 minutes of wrestling prior to that moment that do not, and should not, be replayed. Everything about this story and match was one big load of “huh?”.

Shane made his huge return to WWE on the February 22, 2016 episode of Raw after seven years away, where he confronted his father Vince and sister Stephanie. Vince then told Shane that he would gain control of Raw if he could win a match of Vince’s choosing at WrestleMania. Vince decided that his son would face The Undertaker inside Hell In A Cell.

The story centered around a lockbox of Vince’s secrets that Shane owned, with Vince telling Shane that he would have to give up the lockbox if The Undertaker beat him at WrestleMania.

On the night, the two best strikers in WWE history went at it for 25 (twenty five) minutes, before Shane dove off the cell, and Taker put Shane, and us, out of his misery.

Shane showed up to Raw the next night battered and bruised, Vince gave him control of Raw anyway despite losing, and the lockbox was banished to history, never to be mentioned again.

All in all, a match that exists solely for one spot.
