WWE
After JD McDonagh confronted a very big Funko Pop character on WWE Raw, it would seem that the WWE insult isn’t ending soon.
While McDonagh continues to battle comments about the size of his head, it should be noted that the insult has actually already been a long running topic of conversation in WWE.
Cody Rhodes first dropped the line on TV in 2023

Being the first to make the joke on WWE, it was actually Cody Rhodes who was the OG of calling JD McDonagh a “Funko Pop head”.
During his feud with The Judgment Day, Cody Rhodes mocked JD McDonagh’s unusually large head by comparing him to a Funko Pop figure.
On August 21, 2023, during an episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes famously mocked JD McDonagh by saying, “Head so big on that little body, he’s looking like a Funko Pop!”
However, the joke certainly did not end with a one-off from Cody, but instead would begin to haunt the Judgment Day enforcer.
Cody wasn’t the only one

With a variety of WWE stars hopping onto the joke, it certainly wasn’t only Cody Rhodes would publicly comment about the size of McDonagh’s head in a good-natured way.
On the ImPaulsive podcast, both Logan Paul and Randy Orton would joke about McDonagh after Orton delivered a massive RKO to JD.
With Logan Paul referring to him as “the Bobblehead guy,” which Orton would go on to share that after recently meeting JD McDonagh at the time he could affirm – he does have a big head.
Joe Hendry taking it to a new level

While the continued random insult here or there was one thing, in their growing feud on WWE Raw, Joe Hendry is taking his insults to a new level.
Not only does Hendry have a song to perform regarding JD McDonagh, he has also been appearing alongside a literal Funko Pop mascot in the likeness of McDonagh.
While the gag had been going already for a few weeks, it was only on the October 12 edition of WWE Raw did McDonagh come face to face with his over the top likeness – in a scene that even WWE’s own social media team referred to as “crashing out after humiliation”.
Special edition Funko Pop incoming?

After all this good natured mocking, it could be time for JD McDonagh to get his own special edition Funko Pop.
Similarly to the WWE ambulance toy that was shown on the pre-show for WWE Money in the Bank 2026 with later, an ambulance serving as an important plot device in the main event men’s ladder match – perhaps there could even be a brand new group set of Judgment Day Funko Pop on the horizon for the holiday season.
