Coming out of the September 14 WWE Raw, things are looking different on the road to Money In The Bank 2026.
With the event set to take place in New Orleans, there could be some interesting matchups on the card on October 10.
Considering the two titular ladder matches will be on the lineup, WWE could add some title bouts and allow stars to settle the score at their next premium live event.
Here are six new potential matches to be added to WWE Money In The Bank 2026 after Raw in Mexico City.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight
On the September 14 edition of Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns defeated Penta to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
After the win and the show going off the air, LA Knight showed up to confront Reigns and gave him the BFT to stand tall.
Angered by this attack, Reigns posted a video on social media where he stated that he will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Knight at WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
Following months of issues between the two men, Reigns and Knight should be one of the biggest matches on the Money In The Bank card in New Orleans.
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Chad Gable (c) vs. Ethan Page
Another champion who had a tough test on the September 14 Raw from Mexico City is Chad Gable.
On this episode, Gable defeated Dragon Lee to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Over the past few weeks, Ethan Page has been targeting Gable and calling out his lack of defenses against the non-luchadors on the WWE roster.
After this latest defense, Gable could finally grant Page a title match at WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
AAA Mega Championship: El Grande Americano (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
At WWE AAA TripleMania 34 Sunday, El Grande Americano defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the AAA Mega Championship.
After celebrating this win, Americano made his return to WWE Raw as the champion on the September 14 episode from Mexico City.
This led to El Grande teaming with Stephanie Vaquer to defeat The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan via disqualification.
With The Judgment Day laying the babyfaces out post match, this could lead to “Dirty Dom” getting his rematch for the AAA Mega Title against Americano at the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 premium live event.
WWE Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch
On the September 12 WWE live event from Santiago, Chile, Stephanie Vaquer made history by defeating Liv Morgan to win the WWE Women’s World Championship.
This win came in large part thanks to special guest referee Becky Lynch costing Morgan the title.
Following this victory, Lynch confronted Vaquer and said that she is owed her title match now that she is champion.
Considering Morgan laid out the champion on the September 14 Raw, it feels like Vaquer will have to defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against both Liv and Becky at Money In The Bank 2026 on October 10.
Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed
At WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi defeated Bron Breakker via disqualification thanks to outside interference from the returning Bronson Reed.
Then on the September 7 WWE Raw, Reed and Breakker once again laid out Femi.
The September 14 WWE Raw saw all three men absent from the show, but there could be more development on this feud moving forward.
With Breakker qualified for the Men’s Money In The Bank, that can leave Reed to fend with Oba Femi in a grudge match on the card from New Orleans.
Undisputed WWE Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Kevin Owens
After a brief nine-day reign earlier this year, Sami Zayn is once again Undisputed WWE Champion.
Zayn defeated CM Punk to win the title on the September 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
This victory came as a result of outside interference from Sami’s former best friend Kevin Owens.
This could lead to Owens becoming the number one contender to challenge Zayn for the gold at WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
