On April 24 the entire Wyatt Sicks faction was released by WWE, along with well over a dozen more members of the company’s roster.

Among the highest profile and shocking departures of the list of talent releases, the Wyatt Sicks should find opportunities elsewhere outside the company, whether together or apart.

With there already being some intriguing clues as to what might be next for the group, here are some potential plans for the Wyatt Sicks after their WWE departures.

Nikki Cross

Nikki Cross in WWE

Nikki Cross’ WWE release on April 24 came almost 10 years exactly following her debut in the company at an NXT live event on April 22, 2016

While the former Nikki Cross may have departed WWE, she continues in her journey of obtaining a PhD.

Already earning her Bachelor’s in History from the University of Glasgow and her Master’s in History from Edinburgh University, her journey in professional wrestling and academia seems to continue.

Already getting back into in-ring action, Nikki has posted several intriguing posts to Instagram including a throwback photo of her in 2013 at the famed Korakuen Hall in Japan.

Definitely able to make a big in-ring return in the near future, perhaps the accomplished star could incorporate her real-life education into her next character’s wrestling gimmick.

Erick Rowan

WWE Wyatt Sicks member Erick Rowan

Erick Rowan’s second spell in WWE lasted just under two years

Taking to social media to post a vignette that originally aired on WWE in July 2024, Rowan’s time seemingly came full circle.

At the time, the WWE Raw interview served to re-introduce the former WWE Tag Team Champion to the audience. Holding on to a sheep mask of his former Wyatt Family character, he spoke of hope for the future before the clip ended with a remark that rings true now that the veteran has departed WWE.

The Wyatt Sicks vignette ended with Rowan saying, “We’re going to take our broken hearts and make some beautiful art,” before the clip ends in the signature blue screen of the faction.

Certainly able to continue his journey in professional wrestling, perhaps Rowan will be seen again on TV in the future in TNA Wrestling or AEW.

Joe Gacy

Six years after arriving in WWE in 2020, there could be a brand new era for Joe Gacy coming soon.

Potentially returning to his roots in hardcore wrestling, the veteran who made his start in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) could definitely find a new home elsewhere in professional wrestling.

Seemingly a solid fit to join AEW or even TNA Wrestling, Gacy is already looking ahead, and the 36-year-old has already rebranded himself as Joseph Sawyer ahead of his free agency.

Posting a video that simply features the date July 24, 2026 it would seem that there is a countdown underway until his non-compete clause comes to an end.

Bo Dallas

Former WWE star Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas)

Bo Dallas did not compete in a pro wrestling ring between his first WWE release in April 2021 and eventual return to the company in late 2022

A centerpiece to the Wyatt Sicks faction, Bo Dallas continued the story of the group and his Uncle Howdy character after the tragic passing of his brother, Bray Wyatt.

While he was most recently portraying Uncle Howdy with the Wyatt Sicks, there could certainly be an individual road ahead for Bo Dallas.

Able to continue his connection with WWE, it could be that the next phase of career for Bo Dallas may be backstage.

With other in-ring talent turned producers like Jason Jordan and Bobby Roode going on to continue to create memorable WWE moments in a new way, it could be that Dallas follows suit, or alternatively, does what he didn’t do following his first WWE release and ventures into the indies.

Dexter Lumis

After having departed and returned to WWE previously, Dexter Lumis has parted ways with the company along with the departures of the rest of the Wyatt Sicks.

However, it would seem Lumis is not keen to waste any time and has already teased a return to independent wrestling.

Taking to social media to signal a new era, Lumis was seen shaving off his recent signature dreadlocks that accompanied the Sicks character.

Also appearing in the clip, former on-screen partner Indi Hartwell as Lumis seemingly shed his former iteration and also included the date of July 24, 2026.
