Jacob Fatu has commented following WWE Raw, reacting to the crowd chanting for him to attack Roman Reigns and The Usos them one more time.

With Roman Reigns defeating Jacob Fatu – with an assist from an exposed turnbuckle – to retain his World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash, the challenger attacked the champion after the final bell.

This beatdown continued on the May 11 Raw episode, with Fatu taking out The Usos en route to confronting Roman Reigns in the ring. The cousins brawled, with Fatu ultimately slamming Reigns’ through the announce desk.

The show went off the air following Fatu running back down to ringside and putting Reigns and The Usos through the barricade with a flying hip attack.

WWE has shared a new video to Twitter revealing what happened next, with Fatu standing on the entrance ramp while the crowd chanted “one more time.”

Fatu ultimately made his way to the back, addressing the camera directly, saying:

“I can’t give them what they want. They’re yelling ‘One more time.’ You think I’mma listen to them suckers? I’ve been grinding, solo bolo.

“Ain’t nobody ever tapped in with me, so what the hell do you think I’mma do? I keep trying to tell them, seven kids. Tap in with me, ’cause I’m really all gas, no f**king brakes with it.”

This promo seems to cement Jacob Fatu as a heel, with the former US Champion now having an intriguing relationship with the fans.

With Fatu building his badass persona in WWE, attacking Roman Reigns almost fits with his brand, rather than being a character-shifting moment.

In fact, the video shows that fans were eager to see Fatu continue his beatdown, and only booed after they realised Fatu was done for the night.

Firmly establishing Roman Reigns as the babyface in this feud is a questionable decision when so much of his presentation screams heel.

Instead, the company is going to have to try to get the crowd to boo Jacob Fatu – who previously turned face by turning on another heel family member – being a lone (were)wolf, fighting to overcome the numbers game to defeat a super-decorated star, to win his first WWE world title, after losing his first shot at the title after the champion took advantage of an exposed turnbuckle.

It’s easy, of course, to get the fans to cheer for Roman Reigns, given the popularity of his OTC character. Only time will tell if the audience is as willing to boo this version of Jacob Fatu.
