AEW Star Suffered Dislocated Jaw During Most Recent Match AEW

Matt Hardy has now commented on the status of Jeff Hardy, revealing that his brother recently suffered an injury on AEW TV.

It was previously reported that Jeff will be absent from AEW TV for a while, with AEW currently touring Canada, and Jeff unable to travel into Canada due to his history of arrests.

Jeff was most recently in action on the June 21 edition of Dynamite, teaming with Matt Hardy in a losing effort against Austin & Colten Gunn.

Following the bout, the Hardys were attacked by Juice Robinson, leading to Jeff suffering a dislocated jaw.

Speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy said:

“The roll of coins, it dislocated his jaw.

“They thought it might have been broken, but it was dislocated, so it’s only looking like a couple of weeks.

“So, yeah. It is what it is. It’s pro wrestling. It’s not ballet, as they say.”

Following Bullet Club Gold’s attack, CM Punk made a rare Dynamite appearance to confront the group.

Punk appeared on Saturday’s (July 1) edition of Collision, where he was on commentary for the main event, which saw Samoa Joe defeat Roderick Strong in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament.

In the next round, CM Punk will face off against Samoa Joe.
