First Match Set For New AEW Dynasty PPV

A teased Tony Khan ‘dream match’ between Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson is happening at AEW Dynasty next month.

It had recently been reported that the match was “100% for sure” known to be “happening relatively soon”.

According to spoilers for this week’s AEW Collision which was taped on March 7, 2024, after Danielson’s match against Shane Taylor, Ospreay had a back-and-forth with Danielson.

Danielson would go on to issue a challenge for a match at AEW Dynasty, which Ospreay accepted.

The match was initially teased after the March 6 AEW Dynamite in which Ospreay faced Kyle Fletcher in the main event.

Footage from that match can be seen below this news story, including the moment when Ospreay and Danielson came face to face.

AEW Dynasty is a new addition to their PPV calendar and takes place on April 21, 2024, in St Louis, MO.

It was confirmed as a new PPV with the date and location set during AEW Revolution on March 3, 2024.
