AEW Star Breaks Silence Following Departure From The Company AEW

An AEW star has broken their silence following their reported departure from the company.

Earlier today (May 2) it was reported by Fightful that AEW’s EJ Nduka had exited the company following the expiry of his contract.

After news broke of Nduka’s AEW departure, a Twitter user responded by posting his impressive NFL Combine stats from 2012, writing that they wished AEW had used him better.

This led to a response from Nduka himself, who agreed with the fan’s sentiment – writing:

Some people don’t know what to do with Gold even if you hand it to them.

Nduka would then respond to another post on his AEW exit shortly afterwards, writing:

I was never meant to sit. Benches were made for the unsure.

I’ve heard the call now it’s time to move.

If you think this guy was made to ride the bench you need to call the 1800 number cause you suffer from mesothelioma you pencil neck reject.

Seemingly further conveying his frustrations with his time in AEW, Nduka also retweeted another post which wrote:

like how TF U Signed EJ NDUKA Just to f**k him over?

Nduka was signed by AEW in 2023 but would mostly appear in non-televised matches until he eventually joined the Ring of Honor brand in mid-2024, where he formed a tag team known as LeeJ with Lee Johnson.

Prior to joining AEW, Nduka was signed to WWE as a part of the NXT brand, but only made two in-ring appearances for the company in 2020 – neither of which were televised – he also competed for Major League Wrestling for a year before signing with AEW.

We will provide updates on Nduka’s future when news becomes available.
