In the main event of night one of NXT Halloween Havoc, Becky Lynch has lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Lyra Valkyria.
With Jade Cargill watching on, the match ultimately ended in a new titleholder as Lyra Valkyria pinned Becky Lynch to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.
After the match, Lynch glanced back at Cargill before handing over the NXT Women’s Championship belt to Valkyria.
She pulled fellow Irelander Valkyria in for an embrace and then held her hand up in victory before making an exit.
Lynch had held the title since winning it from Tiffany Stratton on the September 12 episode of NXT.
This was the second title change at Halloween Havoc night one, as Chase U won the NXT Tag Team Championship from Tony D’Angelo and Stacks earlier in the night.
