With WWE SmackDown heading to Spain for the European Summer Tour, Blake Monroe has revealed why fans should buy a ticket.

As part of the upcoming tour, which sees WWE Clash in Italy take place on May 31, the go-home edition of SmackDown will take place in Barcelona, Spain, just two days earlier.

In an interview with Vicente Beltrán, Blake Monroe was asked why fans in the region should buy a ticket to the May 29 show.

Hinting that she could make her first SmackDown TV appearance on this episode, Monroe said:

“Here’s the thing. SmackDown is coming to Spain. Do you know who else is coming to Spain? Blake Monroe.

“I haven’t made my SmackDown debut yet, maybe Barcelona is the place to do that. I mean, I am from Europe. Barcelona is a beautiful place. Hopefully, the people are beautiful too.

“Maybe you finally get to see the historic moment that The Glamour debuts on SmackDown. Maybe. That’s a good enough reason to buy a ticket… And Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes and people like that will be there, but, maybe The Glamour will be there.”

Monroe wouldn’t be drawn on whether she would be chasing a particular SmackDown star or a championship, although she did hint that she may have an objective in mind, explaining:

“Maybe, but I wouldn’t tell you, because they’ll probably be listening and watching my every move, and that would be giving the game away.

“There’s definitely a very exciting landscape right now on SmackDown. I’m kind of letting everybody do their thing.

“There was a really exciting round of NXT call-ups. I’m not really a group person, I’m a standout, so I let them all debut and cause havoc, and I’m waiting to see how the chips fall right now, with Fatal Influence, and Jade has just returned, too.

“I’m trying to see how things pan out before I make my impact.”

A former Women’s North American Champion, Monroe’s SmackDown debut was teased in a vignette on the April 24 episode, having finished her time in NXT with a loss ot Tatum Paxley earlier that month in a Casket Match.

Recapturing The Glamour

Joining WWE NXT after a successful run in AEW as Mariah May, Blake Monroe has crafted a persona that is as coquettish as it is hard-hitting.

A well-travelled star before she made her AEW debut back in 2023, the former Mariah May saw success in Japan, becoming Goddesses of Stardom Champion with Mina Shirakawa, but it’s likely her feud with Toni Storm that stands out in the minds of many fans.

Monroe has shown, through her AEW feud, that she is capable of acts of brutality, both physical and verbal, and that she has the ability to play mind games with the same level of efficiency as she performs in the ring.

It’s these skills that Monroe will no doubt bring to the main roster when she makes her debut, and the suggestion that she may have a target for her talents in mind should only add to the aura she exudes

A debut in Europe could make quite the impact, although additional dates were recently added to the tour, with three new locations all in England.

When The Glamour makes her main roster debut, it’ll no doubt be a sight to behold, and there’s plenty of opportunity for Blake Monroe to sparkle.
