Jamie has been covering the world of wrestling for four years and currently holds the position of Assistant Editor of WrestleTalk.com. During his time working for WrestleTalk.com he has written and published over 4,000 news and feature articles covering events and happenings from WWE, AEW, TNA and a variety of international and independent wrestling promotions.

The Bella Twins have heaped praise on Danhausen after working with the “Very Nice, Very Evil” WWE star in several social media segments.

Despite only arriving in March, Danhausen is fast proving to be one of WWE’s smartest acquisitions in years, with the former AEW star providing not only a great deal of levity to WWE’s on-screen product, but also endless social media content and high merchandise sales.

While they haven’t worked together much on television, Danhausen and The Bella Twins, or, as Danhausen refers to them: The Bella Clones, have interacted plenty on social media.

During an appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Nikki admitted it’s hard to remain serious when working with Danhausen, but she feels they have “great chemistry”:

“From the first time we did something with him, you know there’s just somebody you work with that you just have great chemistry with. So, with him, off the bat we did and it was really funny because of the whole Bella clones thing. But it is hard, but I love it.”

Brie then revealed that she and Nikki never really know what Danhausen is going to say or do in their segments together, and you kind of just need to “go with it”:

“You kind of have to go with it. It’s not all perfectly planned. You don’t know really what he’s going to say. You just have an idea of what might happen, but you never know which way he’s going to go. So you kind of just lean into it.

Nikki then said that Danhausen gives her and the fans something that she feels WWE has been missing: colorful characters:

“He gives me what I’ve been missing so much a part of our product is those colorful characters. So, he’s been just such a blessing. Fans are loving him, and it shows we are missing those kinds of characters.

“If Santino (Marella) was to show up right now we’d all be in heaven because he would just bring that moment of laughter. Do you know what I mean? You just laugh about it all week and you’re like that was really good.”

As well as entertaining in backstage segments and social media clips, Danhausen is currently undefeated in in-ring competition in WWE, with his most recent win coming at Backlash on May 9, when he and Minihausen defeated Kit Wilson and The Miz.
