CM Punk has gotten a glowing review from a different former boss amid his return to WWE after having been fired by AEW.
Dana White, the CEO of UFC and technically Punk’s ‘boss’ during his time competing in UFC, has only good things to say about him.
Dana White told Sports Illustrated:
“I’ve had nothing but a great relationship with him since the day we met.
“He’s a super nice guy. He’s one of the easiest people I’ve ever dealt with.”
Going on to share more about Punk’s time working in UFC including training with ‘the renowned Duke Roufus and his team at Roufusport’, White shared an additional perspective.
Dana White said:
“You know what else is important? Everybody that he trained with and everybody around him in his camp respected him. That spoke volumes.
“Do I give my blessing? 100 percent. I love the guy.”
Dana White remains the CEO of UFC under the same Endeavor parent company since merging with WWE to form TKO.
