Dakota Kai Sends Message After Saving Bayley From Damage CTRL

Dakota Kai has now broken her silence after saving Bayley from Damage CTRL during Friday’s edition of SmackDown.

Bayley previously stood up to Asuka, Kairi Sane and IYO SKY on the February 2 SmackDown episode. After the group attacked Bayley, the Royal Rumble winner issued a challenge to Women’s Champion IYO SKY for WrestleMania 40.

While Dakota Kai wasn’t present for this segment, she was featured on this week’s (February 9) show.

Kai interrupted Bayley to talk about the group’s implosion, before fending off Asuka, Sane and SKY with a steel chair when they surrounded the ring.

In the heat of things, it looked like Kota was also going to strike Bayley with the chair, but stopped herself when she realised that it was just her and Bayley in the ring.

Kai has now taken to Twitter to confirm that she’s on Bayley’s side, writing:

Bayley will challenge for IYO SKY’s WWE Women’s Championship at the April 6-7 WrestleMania 40 event.

Kai hasn’t wrestled since suffering an ACL injury in May 2023.
